Todayy was the end of the CHEERS tournament for all of us TK Girls. ):
At least after this tournament I've learnt a lot. (:
We lost to Adeline (RGS) & [not so sure what her name is] (Singapore Sports School)
21-9,21-11.
)):

pretty disappointed.
cos i thought i could've played better.
after writing the report,
i realised that i still have ALOT to improve on.
so i just thought,
"Was my choice of joining badminton a mistake?"

Thinking back on this question,
reminds me on the times my mother and i fought
about my choice of CCA.
she never liked the idea of me joining badminton.
she never supported the idea.
she always thought i should have joined a CCA i can shine in.
not badminton.
cos i totally suckk in it.

My teamates say that i've improved.
But i wanna ask,
Have i improved fast enough to win matches for the team?
In the first place,
can i even win for the team?
or am i just someone there to make sure that we will definitely lose that match?
i ask myself how many matches i've won.
& i can tell myself,
perhaps out of the 100 matches i've played,
i would have probably won only like.. less than a quarter..
it really shows that badminton is not my niche.

so thinking back,
i made a mistake.
i should have joined Interact Club,
or Red Cross,
or Band,
or String Essemble
or even dance.

perhaps choosing badminton was a mistake.
so right now,
i'm thinking whether i should just flush my efforts down the drain,
and just apply for a transfer next year.
i would probably do better in Debate & Literacy Society. (2nd CCA for now)

my mind is in such a mess.
i really love badminton.
but will it ever help me in the future?
will i ever win a single match to make my team proud?
& the worst of all,
did i ever deserve this spot as a captain?
i'm sure there are others out there that deserve my spot.

there's a part of me which is willing to let go,
another part of me that wants to hold on.
which is the choice i should make?



that fake smile on my face,
just seems to hide all my true feelings.
that's the reason why no one ever sees the real me.
