just came home from an extra long day.

was up at 6 this morning.
CROSS COUNTRY
i came in 20th. 16min 53sec.
Celia came in 21st. right after me!(:
Chermaine was 17th.
Michelle was 18th.
EMMANUELLEchn came in 3rd!

DRAGON BOATING (CURL) @ MARINA BAY FLOATING PLATFORM!(:
i was like super tried.
my legs were aching,
my arms had no strength.
all i felt like doing was to sleep.

then, it rained. /:
just when we were about to race.
aahhh.. so dao mei.
so the race was postponed to 1pm.
we grabbed our belongings,
then went to VIP lounge. s
o cool but quite cold.
cos got wet, then the room was air-conditioned.
but soon got used to it.

we spent like 3-4 hours in there.
there were so many performances(:
there was a balloon sculpturer,
a magician
& a face changer!(:
the magician did this 'disgusting' trick.
he swallowed a card, then spit it out again.
the card had EMMANUELLEchn name on it!(:

then the face change performance after lunch. the person was so cool!(:
it's like when you blink, he will change his face!
SINTHIYA! you were like so funny.

THE RESULTS:
DUCKTOURS(my group) was 2nd in our catergory..
but so sad/:
we didn't win cos we lost out to FORMULA 1.
so close..
just beaten by a few secons!
if not we could have gotten 2nd!

it's so cool.
in uni, for any type of competitions,
you will get a free shirt,
a free singlet,
and the token of particitipation in a medal!(:
not like sec school.
we get a piece of paper which says:
THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING & MAKING THIS EVENT A SUCCESS!
then, the paper gets trashed. LOL.

CIP ended at 3.
headed for Si Ma Lu and Bugis.
met up with my ex-schoolmate, and also my tuition friend, YI XUAN.
she agreed to go with me!(:

then we went home to wash up,
before going back to Marina Bay Floating Platform to watch FIREWORKS!(:

the FIREWORKS was
B E A U T I F U L
it felt like we've been surrounded by an invisible wall;
a wall where the fireworks can only hit;
and a boom;
while my heart beat quickens;
it seems like the atmosphere was falling apart;
but it didn't feel like it was tragedy;
it felt more like everyone breaking free;
and soaring into the sky.

by the time we squeezed out of the crowd and took the mrt home, it was like 10 plus.
my mom picked us up and took us out to eat. (since we haven't eaten)
before sending Yi Xuan back home.
